This is my first time building a website and I was only able to do it because of some very kind folks who were nice enough to make guides, tutorials and even whole lines codes for me to just copy and paste. Here's some of them:
Maybe you've noticed that sometimes there is an image, usually a painting, above my short stories or essays. Those images are actually all on the public domain and thus can be used for pretty much any purpose. I'll be linking here the places I go to find them.
Important: not all of the images on these websites are on the public domain. Copyright laws are complicated and even if a particular work is on the public domain, photographs or digital scans of it can be copyrighted. Not to mention the fact these laws can change depending on the country you're in. If you intend to use any of them, make sure to double-check if they're indeed in the public domain.
